Wedding Planner
A planning hub for our wedding: an integrated day-of timeline, ceremony and vendor details, seating and allergies, playlists, and every doc in one place, with a live countdown to the big day.
Hi. I’m Sheshan.
My life runs on the internet. I work on the pipes underneath it so to speak, moving packets, chasing down routes, and making sure the things you load actually load.
I’ve been doing this for about 12 years. Network and security engineering, at a range of firms.
At the moment, I’m a Network Engineer at Stripe. I live in Brooklyn, New York. Originally hailing from the mountains of Sri Lanka.
Outside of work I take photos, curate playlists, occasionally play bass, and chase good libations. I keep running lists of city recommendations for the places I travel which I love to share.
A decade designing the networks behind high-velocity financial firms. The long version lives on my LinkedIn.
A couple of things I've built for myself on the side.
A planning hub for our wedding: an integrated day-of timeline, ceremony and vendor details, seating and allergies, playlists, and every doc in one place, with a live countdown to the big day.
An apartment-hunting dashboard for NYC: it scrapes listings from Craigslist, StreetEasy etc., scores them against my criteria, and sorts them into top picks, worth-a-call, and the rest. Saved shortlist, map view, and a daily digest.
Photos from wherever I happen to be — mostly on film, mostly on foot.
A small archive of random bodies of work.
Spotify playlists, sorted by mood.
Running lists of where to eat, drink, and spend time in the cities I know.
Occasional notes on travel, engineering, and the overlap between them.
